Instructional Design:
The students learn this topic by knowing the steps to paraphrase and apply them while writing an essay. They have to understand how to paraphrase paragraphs in order to create a good text.
Method:
Teacher explains the materials through the PPT and asks the students to practise their writing skill by paraphrasing a text.
Description:
This material is very important for students who have studied academic writing. Learning this material makes them understand how to paraphrase the paragraphs. Paraphrasing means that someone change other people ideas with their own words but both ideas are still similar. Therefore, they are two ways to paraphrase the paragraphs as being discussed by Bailey (2011). The ways are summary and citation and quotation and citation. The paraphrased sentence :
The UK origin of industrial revolution was explained by the focus of demand. at that time, the worker's salary was high, but the energy from coal was cheap. It caused the development of mechanical inventions based on steam power. And the Mechanising production enable bosses to save the money for the other things.
put tobe or auxilary verb before verb e.g. It is caused...and don't use and to begin new sentence. paraphrasing means that you might rewrite the original text into your own text without changing its meaning.
