"I wanted to go to the beach, but it started to rain heavily."
(karena menggabungkan dua kalimat utuh menjadi satu menggunakan kata hubung yaitu but)
The teacher explained the concept clearly, so all the students understood
2.)I wanted to go to the beach, but it started to rain heavily
ReplyDeleteType: Compound Sentence
Explanation: This sentence contains two independent clauses ("I wanted to go to the beach" and "it started to rain heavily") joined by the coordinating conjunction "but" and a comma. Since both parts can stand alone as complete sentences, it is a compound sentence.
6.)"Lions, tigers, and bears are all large predators."

Nomor 1, ("The dog chased the ball and brought it back to its owner.") adalah Simple Sentence (Kalimat Tunggal) karena hanya memiliki satu subjek utama ("The dog") dengan dua kata kerja ("chased" dan "brought").
ReplyDeleteNomo 2, ("I wanted to go to the beach, but it started to rain heavily.") adalah Compound Sentence (Kalimat Majemuk Setara) karena menggabungkan dua klausa mandiri utuh ("I wanted to go to the beach" dan "it started to rain heavily") yang dihubungkan oleh kata hubung "but".
1.The dog chased the ball and brought it back to its owner.
ReplyDeleteThat sentence is a compound sentence (specifically, a compound sentence—or a coordinate compound sentence—featuring a compound predicate).
Explanation:
Subject: Dog
Clause 1 / Predicate 1: chased the ball
Conjunction: and
Clause 2 / Predicate 2: brought it back to its owner
This sentence contains two clauses or predicates (chased and brought) connected by a coordinating conjunction (and).
2.I wanted to go to the beach, but it started to rain heavily.
That sentence is a compound sentence.

independen pertama: u can take the morning train
independen kedua :u can wait for the aftrnoon express,
disitu ada penghubung yaitu (or)
Menurut saya yang no 2 itu termasuk compound sentence.
ReplyDeleteKalimatnya: I wanted to go to the beach, but it started to rain heavily.
Klausa pertama I wanted to go to the beach, yang kedua it started to rain heavily. Keduanya dipisah koma dan kata hubung but. But itu termasuk FANBOYS.
Terus yang no 6 itu simple sentence.
Kalimatnya: Lions, tigers, and bears are all large predators.
Kata kerjanya tetap satu yaitu are, jadi masih kalimat tunggal.
1.) Anjing itu
ReplyDeleteIni bukan kalimat utuh, tapi cuma nama benda (kata benda) aja! Kaya kamu lagi nunjuk anjing: "Itu anjing!". Belum ada ceritanya anjing lagi ngapain, jadi belum jadi kalimat deh.
Cerita kedua: Hujannya turun makin deras
