Instructional design:
The students have to understand the stages of essay writing and how to develop their outline in a paragraph. Then, the students have to use their skill of this topic in their real academic work.
Method:
The teacher uses written discussion through her PPT and give her students some exercises as learning practices to apply a task based approach in her teaching method.
Description:
The topic is about how to start writing essay by organising its patterns. The patterns of essay are generally known as introductory paragraph, main paragraph, and closing paragraph. Before developing the patterns, the students have to understand writing standardization including grammar, punctuation, and spelling (Peck and Coyle, 1999).
