THE 6Th SESSION ON ESSAY WRITING
Instructional Design:
The students could write their essay based on the components of what they should do in writing the content. After that, the students are able to apply each component to the real life situation including their further work.
Method:
The teacher gives the materials by using discussion in this blog comment column. She also uses task-based as part of her teaching. It means that the teacher distributes task to practise her students particularly in this subject.
Description:
The materials consist of the explanation about how to create your content essay. There are 3 components that being concern in this step. The components are paraphrasing, synthesizing, and summarising (Bailey, 2011). Every student has to be careful creating his/her ideas while adopting others. If the students do not concern on this topic, they could do plagiarism. Consequently, they won't have their own sounds in the text and their readers can't understand what the students have written. This topic is important for every student who want to practise essay writing.
