ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, AI makes it possible to identify students' potential talents and provide various information about learning, therefore it makes learning process easier. AI can also aid in learning by providing relevant and reliable information. With AI, students can study anywhere and anytime, without being limited by space and time. AI also allows students to access a wide variety of learning resources and information, enhancing their learning experiences and skills. AI can also assist teachers in providing quick feedback on student learning outcomes. Therefore, we can conclude that the use of AI in learning has many advantages.
However, the use of AI in Indonesia still has several challenges, and one of the hardest challenges is Internet network availability. Many areas in Indonesia do not have a good internet network. Another challenge that is quite difficult to solve is the teacher's inability to use internet. If the teacher can't use the internet, how can the teacher guide students to use various existing applications? I believe that no matter how great AI is, the main support in learning is still the teacher. So, if the government wants the students to start using AI in their learning process, they have to educate the teachers first.
The first application that I myself use is ABC Kids, Tracing & Ponic. I use it to introduce English to my nieces. It is a free phonics and alphabet teaching app that makes learning fun for children, from toddlers to preschoolers and kindergartners. It features a series of tracing games to help kids recognize letter shapes, associate them with phonic sounds, and put their alphabet knowledge to use in fun matching exercises. It can be used to children above 3 years old and can still be used until the child is around 7 years old. Since the application is easy to use, I believe any parents can use it at home to introduce English to their children, and the best part of this application is that it is free to use.
The second application I usually use is Duolingo. I like it because the materials provided are simple, yet effective. It gives an engrossing way to learn English, although as an English learning application, it also has several drawbacks, such as the lack of colloquial words and expressions. However, it is free to use and has varied lessons that adjust to students. So by using the application, the student is able to implementing independent learning at home.

In my opinion, so far AI has been widely applied in the world of education, especially in Indonesia. AI can help teachers quickly complete tasks such as assessments, create teaching methods, etc. While offering recommendations on how to close gaps in learning. Additionally, AI can be used to create personalized learning experiences for students.
I think Al can be used for students in Indonesia. Al Can increase student motivation and engagement, resulting in better academic performance. Can help students improve their skills and enhance their overall learning experience. Additionally, AI can be used to create quizzes and games that help students engage with material in a fun and interactive way, and ultimately lead to better academic results.

Two applications that in my opinion are suitable for learning English in the Merdeka Curriculum and can improve students' English skills from low to high levels are Tiktok and Cake.
Tiktok is one of the applications with the most interest lately, in which it is based on short videos that can be easily accessed by all people, from young people to adults. On Tiktok there are lots of videos to learn and increase motivation as well as skills especially English (reading, speaking, listening and writing) made by content creators such as Kampung Inggris LC, Black Screen English, Veronica, Zelynafah, Antonio Parlati , Mike the chameleons and many others. Students can follow, listen, see, understand and practice what they have watched on Tiktok. Besides that, they can also find a lot of new vocabulary, knowledge of grammar and correct pronunciation. Many researchers have researched the use of Tiktok in learning English with satisfactory results. Even I have researched about Tiktok videos to improve students' English speaking skills with native speaker content creators, namely Mike on the chameleons and it has positive results.
The second is Cake where this application is an interesting medium to use in the process of teaching and learning English. This helps to teach basic things like tenses, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, word order, and other such things. Some of the other features include tests, live practice. The Cake app offers speaking exercises that simulate conversations with native speakers. The Cake application is an English learning application where users can improve students' English skills especially in speaking. This app is designed to be easy to use. Suitable for all ages. There are various exercises for users like us trained as daily missions. There are always vocabulary updates and new conversations. This app also has AI-powered tutors that will help us practice our speaking skills. Cake is an application that offers you to learn English thanks to expressions taken from short videos (scenes from movies, scenes from serials, etc.). This app listens to your pronunciation and lets you know when it's good.

In my opinion, the use of AI in education can help students do their assignments, not only bringing about a change in the way students receive knowledge, but fundamentally students can more effectively and efficiently use AI to make it easier for them to learn. Before there was AI , students had to go to the library and read lots of books to do the question and assignments given by the teacher. With AI, students can access information more easily and save time. Unlike google which is only a search engine , chat GPT does not provide answer from the google or internet database. AI gives answers based on processed data that the developer inputs. Although AI still has many shortcomings such as the explanations given are less specific and actual, but AI is suitable for Indonesian students where they are already technology literate and Indonesia is one of the most social media user's in the world. Therefore AI can be utilized as a learning medium that makes it easier for students to access it.

2 applications that can be downloaded on the playstore to learn English are hello talk and beelinguapp
The first is hello talk different from other English learning applications, hello talk provides chat features like chatting via short messages, if there is an error' in spelling, the system' can immediately correct the error' that occurs, hello talk also allows user's to interact with other user's from other countries, here students can practice their English directly and can add experience, namely interacting with foreigners, this of course can make students more motivated in learning English. Then the second application is beelinguapp, the concept of this application is learning through stories, users can learn to read stories in english and Indonesian simultaneously, besides that the beelinguapp application can also activate the audio feature on the selected story' to hear directly how to pronounce sentences in English. These two applications are meaningful for students in Merdeka curriculum, besides bening able to increase motivation in learning English, there are also more innovative, not boring and of course can improve all skills in learning English.

1. In my opinion, the use of AI for education today is quite important and can be used as a place to find effective, fast and efficient information. AI in education can be useful not only for students but also for teachers. For students, AI can be used to find sources of information to do assignments quickly and easily. As for teachers, it can also be used for assessing student work, absenteeism, etc. There are many types of AI currently and they vary in every field of learning and can be used to make doing tasks faster and more precise with the help of AI, by using AI the teaching and learning process also becomes more fun and interactive.
I think AI can also be used for students in Indonesia. AI can increase student creativity and improve student grades and academic performance. Besides that, AI can also be used to find new material that will be studied in an interesting way.
2. 2 applications that can be downloaded on the playstore to learn English are busuu and LingQ
First, the busuu app. In the busuu application, users can learn the four English skills, namely listening, reading, speaking and writing. This busuu application can be used anywhere and anytime, using the internet or not. The material presented in this application is displayed in various levels from basic to advanced. To choose what level is mastered, the application also provides a test to see how fluency is in English. Furthermore, in displaying material, the busuu application always displays images or videos as well as recordings from native speakers, which can be used to correct reading or writing. Busuu also always evaluates lessons, for example when you have finished going through a material there is always a test displayed to remind you of the lesson. the busuu application also has an add friend feature that can be used to interact with other users and learn languages together.
The second is the LingQ application. LingQ is an app that helps you learn languages through reading and listening to original content. One of its best features is that you can import your own content and create new lessons automatically. LingQ has a huge library of audio and written content in multiple languages. The LingQ method immerses you in the language and helps you put new words in context. You can choose exactly what you want to study. After you select a course or lesson, you listen to its content. You can click on new words and phrases to view definitions and add them to your own vocabulary list for later review. Some lessons have vocabulary exercises and questions to reinforce what you hear. LingQ is an application that focuses on listening lessons and increasing vocabulary.
Both of these applications can be used in the independent curriculum. Besides being able to improve learning English, using an application like this will make students feel more interesting and not bored in learning, and feel challenged to pass all levels of material in the application.

1. According to me, AI application is usefull for helping students learning. AI can observe how a student proceeds through an assigned task, how much time they take and whether they are successful. Especially for Indonesia’s students, IA also help them to get another way in learning. The students can get another information beside the teacher. And it can make easily to get knowledge. If the student is struggling, the system can offer help; if the student is succeeding, the system can present more difficult tasks to keep the activity challenging. AI also can quickly identify when a student is struggling and then provide more or different support to help them succeed. As the student shows that they have mastered the content or skill, the AI tool provides more difficult tasks and materials to further challenge the learner. AI application can guide students with personalized, just-in-time feedback or assistance. There is a system that can answer questions about course content or structure. This helps students keep track of their own learning while keeping them motivated and engaged.
2. In my opinion Duolinngo and Hellotalk are two application in playstore that are meaningfull for learning English.
Duolingo is one of the most popular language learning apps and has a very good rating in playstore. In this application, we can learn English from a really basic level (intermediate) to fluent. The main advantage is that we can set language learning targets every day. For example, we want to study English 1 hour a day. Duolingo will remind us to open the application at the specified time. The Duolingo user interface is also not boring, so we will always interested in learning.
HelloTalk is a conversation-based mobile assisted language application that claims to make cultural immersion, language learning, and easy, engaging, as well as intuitive practices. This application allows users to synchronously connect and chat with native speakers from all around the world. Conversation partners can communicate with each other via a variety of different mediums, such as written text, speech-to-text, recorded audio messages, video chats, and doodles. It can make the students feel more interest.
